There were 843 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.64 billion and HK$3.49 billion, or 11.93% and 8.98% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 40.83% and 48.43% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$2.28 billion and HK$1.13 billion of short sales, accounting for 5.87% and 2.91% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 27.48% and 21.29% of respective stock's turnover.
