[ET Net News Agency, 27 February 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$406.46 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$73.36 billion, or 18.05% of the
market's turnover. There were 701 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER
FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$11.03 billion and HK$8.5
billion, or 15.04% and 11.58% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 72.62% and 39.95% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$6.24 billion and HK$5.51 billion of
short sales, accounting for 8.5% and 7.51% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 25.39% and 12.07% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed down HK$0.08, or 1.37%, to HK$5.75. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.02,
or 0.08%, to HK$23.94. BABA-W fell HK$1.2, or 0.88% to HK$135.7. XIAOMI-W declined by
HK$3.2, or 5.68%, to HK$53.1.
