[ET Net News Agency, 3 June 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$115.63
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$14.74 billion, or 12.75% of the market's
turnover. There were 670 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W (09988) saw
higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.35 billion and HK$858.18 million, or
9.14% and 5.82% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
26.58% and 23.61% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$739.75 million and HK$646.3
million of short sales, accounting for 5.02% and 4.38% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 39.72% and 16.42% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.24, or 1.02%, to HK$23.72. BABA-W ended up HK$0.3, or 0.27%,
to HK$113.5. CSOP HS TECH rose HK$0.04, or 0.8% to HK$5.065. TENCENT jumped HK$3.6, or
0.72%, to HK$502.
