[ET Net News Agency, 9 June 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$151.8
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$21.23 billion, or 13.99% of the market's
turnover. There were 664 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.25 billion and HK$1.43
billion, or 15.33% and 6.75% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 47.6% and 48.8% of respective stock's turnover.
KUAISHOU-W (01024) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$963.29 million and HK$930.65
million of short sales, accounting for 4.54% and 4.38% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 21.35% and 18.26% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.22, or 0.91%, to HK$24.38. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.13, or
2.51%, to HK$5.305. KUAISHOU-W rose HK$3.3, or 5.58% to HK$62.4. MEITUAN-W jumped HK$7.3,
or 5.15%, to HK$149.
