[ET Net News Agency, 9 June 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$245.83
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$38.38 billion, or 15.61% of the market's
turnover. There were 690 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.13 billion and HK$2.27
billion, or 13.36% and 5.92% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 42.61% and 43.47% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and HSCEI ETF (02828) registered HK$2.09 billion and HK$2.09 billion
of short sales, accounting for 5.45% and 5.44% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 23.53% and 31.05% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.34, or 1.41%, to HK$24.5. CSOP HS TECH ended up HK$0.155, or
3%, to HK$5.33. MEITUAN-W rose HK$6.7, or 4.73% to HK$148.4. HSCEI ETF jumped HK$1.36, or
1.52%, to HK$90.56.
