[ET Net News Agency, 10 June 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$127.01
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$15.43 billion, or 12.15% of the market's
turnover. There were 675 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.15 billion and HK$860.26 million, or
7.43% and 5.57% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
18.49% and 12.29% of respective stock's turnover.
BYD COMPANY (01211) and CSPC PHARMA (01093) registered HK$677.85 million and HK$574.67
million of short sales, accounting for 4.39% and 3.72% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 33.92% and 30.32% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.12, or 0.49%, to HK$24.62. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$0.36, or
0.4%, to HK$90.92. BYD COMPANY rose HK$1.245, or 0.95% to HK$132. CSPC PHARMA jumped
HK$0.47, or 5.33%, to HK$9.29.
