HSI extends its drop to 800+ pts and is now at 22,255

[ET Net News Agency, 8 October 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its fell to more than
800 points, or 814 points to 22,285. The Hang Seng Index now fell 845 points, or 3.7% to
22,254; with market turnover of 43.93b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now fell 333
points, or 4% to 7,997; the Hang Seng TECH Index now fell 336 points, or 6.2% to 5,050.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now fell HK$11.2, or 5.3% to HK$202, with turnover of HK$2.01b; BABA-W
(09988) fell HK$5, or 4.4% to HK$109.6, with turnover of HK$2.75b; AIA (01299) fell
HK$2.8, or 3.9% to HK$69.35, with turnover of HK$1.87b. (ed)
