[ET Net News Agency, 30 June 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$118.14
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$10.19 billion, or 8.62% of the market's
turnover. There were 680 short-selling stocks. XIAOMI-W (01810) and TRACKER FUND (02800)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$742.97 million and HK$536.87 million,
or 7.29% and 5.27% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 10.15% and 13.34% of respective stock's turnover.
MEITUAN-W (03690) and GIANT BIOGENE (02367) registered HK$517.76 million and HK$333.8
million of short sales, accounting for 5.08% and 3.28% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 13.15% and 26.39% of respective stock's
turnover.
XIAOMI-W closed down HK$0.1, or 0.17%, to HK$58.85. TRACKER FUND ended down HK$0.08, or
0.32%, to HK$24.62. MEITUAN-W fell HK$2.3, or 1.78% to HK$127.1. GIANT BIOGENE jumped
HK$4.05, or 7.47%, to HK$58.3.
