[ET Net News Agency, 15 September 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$290.19 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$42.89 billion, or 14.78% of the
market's turnover. There were 745 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$7.07 billion and HK$4.49
billion, or 16.49% and 10.47% of the total short sales value respectively. The
transactions represented 34.27% and 41.25% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$4.34 billion and HK$2.81 billion
of short sales, accounting for 10.12% and 6.55% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 19.21% and 49.41% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.08, or 0.3%, to HK$27.08. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$0.26, or
0.27%, to HK$96.34. BABA-W rose HK$3.5, or 2.32% to HK$154.6. CSOP HS TECH jumped HK$0.06,
or 1.02%, to HK$5.93.
