[ET Net News Agency, 31 October 2025]  Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was  
HK$257.61 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$39.28 billion, or 15.25% of the 
market's turnover. There were 758 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and CSOP HS TECH
(03033) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.71 billion and HK$3.46 
billion, or 9.45% and 8.8% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions  
represented 40.22% and 58.37% of respective stock's turnover. 
  TRACKER FUND (02800) and BABA-W (09988) registered HK$2.8 billion and HK$1.81 billion of
short sales, accounting for 7.12% and 4.6% of the total short sales values respectively.  
The transactions represented 24.13% and 11.08% of respective stock's turnover.
  HSCEI ETF closed down HK$1.76, or 1.84%, to HK$93.68. CSOP HS TECH ended down HK$0.13,  
or 2.19%, to HK$5.805. TRACKER FUND fell HK$0.34, or 1.29% to HK$26.06. BABA-W declined by
HK$7, or 4.07%, to HK$165.1.
