[ET Net News Agency, 13 November 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$270.67 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$37.83 billion, or 13.97% of the
market's turnover. There were 752 short-selling stocks. BABA-W (09988) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$5.43 billion and HK$2.92
billion, or 14.36% and 7.73% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 21.92% and 14.44% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$2.51 billion and HK$1.52 billion
of short sales, accounting for 6.64% and 4.02% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 12.62% and 13.49% of respective stock's
turnover.
BABA-W closed up HK$5.2, or 3.32%, to HK$162. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$0.6, or 0.62%, to
HK$97.94. TRACKER FUND rose HK$0.14, or 0.52% to HK$27.18. TENCENT declined by HK$1, or
0.15%, to HK$656.
