HSI extends its rise to 800+ pts and is now at 21,439

[ET Net News Agency, 10 October 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
800 points, or 801 points to 21,438. The Hang Seng Index now rose 801 points, or 3.9% to
21,438; with market turnover of 137.8b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose 335
points, or 4.6% to 7,701; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 155 points, or 3.4% to 4,796.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now rose HK$10.7, or 5.8% to HK$195.1, with turnover of HK$5.39b;
BABA-W (09988) rose HK$3.7, or 3.6% to HK$106.6, with turnover of HK$4.64b; CCB (00939)
rose HK$0.26, or 4.5% to HK$5.99, with turnover of HK$1.36b. (ed)
