HSI extends its rise to 800+ pts and is now at 21,934

[ET Net News Agency, 2 October 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
800 points, or 800 points to 21,934. The Hang Seng Index now rose 800 points, or 3.8% to
21,934; with market turnover of 111.71b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose
352 points, or 4.7% to 7,862; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 303 points, or 6.4% to
5,055.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now rose HK$18.4, or 10.7% to HK$190.4, with turnover of HK$6.34b;
BABA-W (09988) rose HK$4.8, or 4.4% to HK$114.8, with turnover of HK$5.45b; HKEX (00388)
rose HK$32, or 9.8% to HK$358.2, with turnover of HK$4.87b. (ed)
