HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 18,747

[ET Net News Agency, 24 September 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more
than 500 points, or 500 points to 18,747. The Hang Seng Index now rose 500 points, or 2.7%
to 18,747; with market turnover of 87.74b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose
204 points, or 3.2% to 6,593; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 125 points, or 3.4% to
3,823.
BABA-W (09988) now rose HK$2.9, or 3.3% to HK$89.65, with turnover of HK$3.97b;
MEITUAN-W (03690) rose HK$5, or 3.8% to HK$137.8, with turnover of HK$2.48b; CCB (00939)
rose HK$0.15, or 2.7% to HK$5.81, with turnover of HK$1.95b. (ed)
