HSI extends its rise to 1,000+ pts and is now at 22,136

[ET Net News Agency, 2 October 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
1,000 points, or 1,002 points to 22,136. The Hang Seng Index now rose 1,002 points, or
4.7% to 22,136; with market turnover of 136.49b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now
rose 434 points, or 5.8% to 7,944; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 355 points, or 7.5%
to 5,107.
MEITUAN-W (03690) now rose HK$21.4, or 12.4% to HK$193.4, with turnover of HK$7.43b;
BABA-W (09988) rose HK$6.6, or 6% to HK$116.6, with turnover of HK$6.74b; TENCENT (00700)
rose HK$22.8, or 5.1% to HK$467.4, with turnover of HK$6.96b. (ed)
