HSI extends its rise to 500+ pts and is now at 22,611

[ET Net News Agency, 4 October 2024] The Hang Seng Index extended its rise to more than
500 points, or 502 points to 22,615. The Hang Seng Index now rose 497 points, or 2.3% to
22,611; with market turnover of 87.39b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose 199
points, or 2.5% to 8,113; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 185 points, or 3.7% to 5,164.
BABA-W (09988) now rose HK$3.8, or 3.5% to HK$113.8, with turnover of HK$3.16b;
MEITUAN-W (03690) rose HK$4.8, or 2.3% to HK$209.8, with turnover of HK$5.89b; TENCENT
(00700) rose HK$11.4, or 2.4% to HK$477.6, with turnover of HK$4.48b. (ed)
